And now when it charges the screen doesnt even look the same, it looks like the firmware is really old or something. When i start itunes, it says the ipod is corrupted and needs to be restored, i do that, and nothing happens, it just keeps saying it is corrupted. Whenver i connect it to my computer, it recognizes it, and the ipod looks like its charging and says "do not disconect". I tried some of the methods for fixing and none worked. I tried restarting it like i would when it froze, and it told me to go to the support site, which I did. An exclamation mark with a folder came up. I unplugged it, and what happened next was new to me. The other day, I was charging my ipod before work, maybe a good hour or so. The only time I actually start up iTunes is when I'm adding music, other than that I just keep my ipod connected to charge. When I charge my ipod, I use the USB connector. I want to say its a 2nd gen ipod nano, its black with a chrome finish on the back, 2gb. Ok so for about 6 months ive been using my ipod on windows fine, with no problems at all besides it freezing 2 or 3 times.
